Just One Thing with Carly Alaimo

Carly Alaimo’s story “Describe Your Most Recent Episode, Ctd” uses a found form brilliantly to give us a window through which we can peer into the complex causes of a woman’s struggle with anger. Here she shares just one thing about the piece:

“This piece is one of three connected short stories about a reality TV show family, the Schutts. I'm interested in the generational effects of reality TV, specifically on the children who grew up being filmed for a multi-season show. I love exploring what the future looks like for these kids in my work.”
