Now Playing: February 2021

Our February contributors are stuck inside watching TV, just like the rest of us. Check out their recommendations in this month’s edition of Now Playing.

My second son told me recently that the moon has better internet than us. Turns out, he's right. The moon has 4G. We have 3G, sometimes. No Netflix, no HBO Max, ever. But we do have DVD's at the library. All we have to do is check them out online and then wait a few days and then drive over and call the number on the sign. Eventually they will walk out and hand you sanitized books and videos, no questions asked. We finished season three of Stranger Things on January 31, 2021. Breaking Bad was knocked out a couple months ago. We've been waiting for the first season of Schitt$ Creek for eight weeks. Kimmy checked the status on the library website to see what gives, but it appears someone has lost it.

I am rewatching Gilmore Girls and cannot believe I ever thought of Lorelai as a fun parent. It's easy to understand the change in my stance, I was a daughter the first time I engaged with the show over ten years ago, and I am now primarily a parent.

I also watch Gladiator every time it comes on now. I don’t know what this means.

Last book I read: I don't really read much literature. Mostly academic writings. Because I study Building technology. So the last book I read was, "Structural theory and design."

Last movie seen: I'm mostly so busy so I don't see movies regularly. Well, the last movie I saw was "The Christmas Chronicles (2).” During early February

Pet: I don't have a pet. Well, I refer to my artworks as pets.
