“My story’’I’m Alive But I'm In Asheville’ is based on something that all the great thinkers of our time have pondered for many years and not solved yet — ‘Is there a way to drink alcohol while wearing an ankle monitor and not get caught?’ I went on Reddit to find an answer to this eternal problem and found a number of workable solutions that involved electronics and metallurgy but also found one person who randomly said that slipping a piece of bacon between the monitor and their skin had worked for them so I used that as the jumping off point for my story.”
