“I sketched this piece five years before finally completing it. At that time I was in my first year of college, studying a career that I wasn't very excited about, feeling disconnected from my own desires and the people around me, longing for a deeper connection with others and with myself. I can happily say now that ‘Connected’ had a happy conclusion, as did the journey I began when it was first conceived.”
