Wondermakers No. 61
The Wondermakers Collective (@thewondermakers) is a collaborative embroidery project created by Mindy Sue Wittock and Jenna Freimuth. They attended the same college at different times, connected on social media, and now make embroideries by mailing hoops back and forth from Wisconsin and Minnesota. Trusting and responding to one another’s mark-making from pass to pass, Mindy and Jenna’s individual artistic styles combine and collide into dense, abstract, shimmering layers. They are motivated by the creative process, curiosity, and building works of wonder. www.thewondermakerscollective.com
