Saba Farhoudnia is a contemporary visual artist based in New York City and 2019 MFA candidate in painting at MICA. She was born and raised in Iran, where she graduated from the USC with a BFA in painting and an MA in art research. Her paintings explore deeply personal subject matter. Suffering a chronic back problem led her to wish for all humans and animals to have a greater understanding of their own condition, and she considers herself a painter of pains, wishes, and regrets.
