My favorite summertime outfit as a kid was shorts, shoulder-tied tanks, and clear jellies or my black roller skates.

I don’t have a favorite summer outfit because my clothes were mostly hand-me-downs, but I do have a favorite summer pair of shoes: Japanese sandals. These were purchased by my mother probably at a grocery store, but they were the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned and they are my most memorable item of clothing ever. Every step was milk chocolate-covered heaven.
