Because I'm ultimately a child at heart, my husband and I recently had a date night to see Disney's Encanto. Set in a magical Colombia, the story was as enchanting as its name, and I loved the diverse cast of cartoon characters. The music was really good, too, with several of the songs still on repeat in my head.

My boys and I are all fans of Wow in the World, a science podcast for kids from Mindy Thomas and Guy Raz (of NPR fame). There's peer-reviewed research and also poop jokes and I feel like that really checks a lot of boxes.

Either you grew up listening to John Denver & The Muppets singing Christmas carols or you didn’t. I did. So, of course, that’s what I’m listening to now. I’m pretty sure that I groaned and eye-rolled my way through the album when my mom played it on repeat throughout my teenage years, but now it’s a staple. Miss Piggy freaking out because she mishears the part about figgy pudding? Classic.
