Now Playing: Part 13

We're putting the finishing touches on our July issue and can't wait to share it with you. But wait we must, so here's a little preview from July contributor Tanya Grae and what she's been playing lately:

"Blues have topped my playlist this summer: Etta James, Norah Jones, Madeleine Peyroux. I love the headspace of driving, when it almost feels like meditation. On my last road trip, I listened to Maggie Nelson’s The Argonauts, which I had wanted to reread. Hearing her narrate the audio book version made me appreciate the braided structure and conversational cadence all the more. I love her leaps and jump cuts. Speaking of which, the last movie I watched/replayed was Moonlight. I’m stuck on this film. The aesthetic, the restraint, the triptych. Next up: reading the script."
