Green and Grey
Kelley “Kel” Hudson’s (@sequoiakelley) paintings tend to focus on recurring daily life moments and fictional landscapes. Her work explores the idea that home is the human and concentrates on compositions that dig into the feelings of home and personal space. Her current series on the home as human, Homescapes, combines photorealistic paintings of shared space and fictional “territories” devoid of people. Often considered elusive and “extremely private,” Kel considers herself a professional voyeur, with her most prized talent being the art of not being noticed.
