Klara Bartilsson has created a visual world of her own, where whirling shapes, artificial color palettes and enigmatic characters competes for attention. It’s a place where the smell of flowers overwhelms you, not at all like the grey Swedish west coast where Klara was raised. Her work often involves pattern repeats and textures, and she always strives to make the perfectly repeated pattern. But she believes that a poorly repeated one can be enjoyable too. Klara’s ultra-decorative expression is often the carrier of a theme based on cultural phenomenons, such as witches, mother nature or self love. Find more of Klara’s work here.
