Shannon Louise Barry (@shannonbarry.fineart) is a South African-born Canadian visual artist, writer, and cryptid. Her art and writing have been published internationally. She has exhibited at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography and Quenten Doolittle Memorial Gallery; acted as the Official Visual Artist of the IGNITE! Festival of Visual Artists; and been featured on the covers of Existere Journal and The Feminist Word magazine, among other publications. Her work often inspects a sense of identity within the ecological realm through perceptions of the self and of reality.
